My passion for construction started when visiting jobsites with my Dad, a local 25 ironworker. I started with an Industrial General Contractor when I was 19. I have worked in Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee and Texas. I worked in energy, automotive, healthcare and education. While working in commercial construction I learned the importance of maintaining a schedule, attention to even the smallest details, and effective communication.
most proud of:
I am most proud of my structural engineering license. Obtaining the license entailed 5 years of working with a PE, 3 years of studying on nights and weekends, and passing two 8 hour exams. It was one of the most difficult things I have completed, making it my greatest achievement.
Favorites:
I have a long list of hobbies, but my favorite way to spend time is being outside with my husband Tom and our pets. We have two horses, two cats, and our little bird dog, Cricket.
